Terms & Conditions, Group Bookings

Group bookings (30 or more) are required to be made no later than 72 hours before departure. If you are a group of 30 or more and you do not book prior to the 72 hours deadline we are unable to priorities your group on the day and this means you may not reach your intended destination.

For group bookings, a 10% deposit is required in advance to secure your booking.

Tickets are refundable if the booking is cancelled no later than 24 hours before departure.

Deposits will be refunded if the service is cancelled due to weather conditions. If you are concerned about the risk of cancellation check out our statistics and the three day forecast at the Bureau of Meteorology

After you fill out the booking form correctly, your information will be sent directly to the staff at Inter Island Ferries. From here someone will contact you regarding your booking. A staff member will confirm the times, dates and a price for your group.

If one leg of your trip is done on a standard scheduled ferry run, no discounts can be offered to your group for this trip as we are required to charge standard fares to all passengers according to the Government contract.

Concessions do not apply on specials runs as a special price has to be organized. This depends on the time of the trip and the number of people in your group. If the group numbers change on the day the price may also change.

It is important that your group arrives at least 20 minutes prior to departure on any run as this enables us to depart on time.
